Green Computing

         Extremely large amount of energy was used every second. So, I knew some helpful ways to save energy from my IT class. Let's see how many ways you guys can do!

>Screensaver is not enough, just close your computer.

>Using rechargeable battery.

>Use computer to do drafting, so no more papers. 

>Close electric equipments that not necessary.

>Set Blackle.com as a homepage instead of Google.

   

>Close Timing program in computer

>Use Aleutia E2, a modern PC instead of old computer.

Internet System In ABAC Dormitory

            I'm the one of ABAC students who live in its dormitory. I can go on the internet in my room by using LAN network. It was not that quick, but fast enough for doing assignment. There is a real story i would like to tell you about internet system in ABAC dormitory. 

 

             One day, nobody can access to the internet in ABAC dormitory. Then, some of ABAC studentwent to the front officers and asked why they cannot use the internet. Front officers  told that there are two reasons which may  affect on internet network. First is raining and second is someone who may use some program that speed up their own LAN network, but others cannot go on the internet as before. So, the front officer try to find the cause, but there were no clue enough. Two days after, internet was working normally. 

Finally, I bought my first PSP!

             First of all, I saw my friends brought PSPs( PlayStation Portable) to my high school. They like to play the famous game called "Monsters Hunter". I didn't care much about that Sony's portable at that time. On the other hand, I loved to play a card game called "Yugioh".

                  I spent lots of money on them. Then, i found out that PSP can access this card game. With PSP, I can arrange my deck and fight with many game characters or even land with my friends. So, I decided to buy them by trying to gain high GPA so that my mother would give me money.

  
                  There are many type of video games that continuously develop. For example, from PlayStation to PlayStation II, PSP and PlayStation III. PSP may be the mixture between PlayStation and PlayStation II, or you may call it "PlayStation 1.5".

                  Advantage of PSP 

         1.Provide the quality of the excellent display.

         2.Present stereo audio.

         3.Can be use as wireless and join up to 16 PSPs.

         4.Can connect to the internet to play as on line.

         5.Its battery and be use up to 4-6 hours if you continuously play it.

         7.There are many ways to use like play games, watch movies, listen music etc.

         8.Has many color such as black, white, red, pink,green,blue etc.

             

Dropbox.com, one of the best websites I have known!.

     There are so many way to store your important files. You may use your thumb drive or hard disk. Nevertheless, what would you do if you lost them? Oh well, I knew how to keep them without paying even 1 Baht!. There is the wonderful web site call "www.dropbox.com"

      With Dropbox, I can keep my documents with my account on it, means that I can go through my files anywhere that internet is connected. It provide us 2GB of space for files you want to keep.Moreover,you can use bigger space by paying $9.99 per month for 50GB and $19.99 per month for 100GB.

          I was once an exchange student in America. I used dropbox to share my pictures and videos with my parents. You may register more than 1 account in order to have more space^^.
